Alexei Passetchnik shows his as a high-skilled specialist. Alexei has finished Department of Physics of Leningrad State University and many years worked in the computer business.
Alexei has fundamental academic knowledge in Theoretical and Experimental Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science. His colleagues marked his talent of interpretation experimental and observant data, based on the advanced physical and mathematical intuition. Alexei also has a wide experience of work with the measuring equipment, data processing and computer engineering.
Should be highlighted his fundamental work under the book “Migration to Windows 2000” that is his global achievement. The book covers qualified detailed analyzing of structure of operating system and working of network based on Windows 2000.
Alexei also known as an author of series of Articles in the Byte/Russia magazine concerning to different aspects of using of various operating systems. So in the article “WinLinux: a dilettante opinion”. (BYTE/Russia, December 1999, #12 (16), pp. 70–72 (in Russian)) Alexei has subjected the described Linux distribution kit to deep constructive criticism and made unwrapped analysis of found bugs.
Article “The Design and Implementing of Active Directory” (BYTE/Russia, April 2000, #4 (20), pp. 54–66 (in Russian)) characterises Alexei Passetchnik as the highly skilled expert superb understanding in a subject. Author shows a valuable experience in the Windows 2000 architecture and gives to readers a lot of useful tips how to make their work more efficiently.
Last three years Alexei Passetchnik worked in the computer book department of the Piter Publishing House, known as one of the biggest professional publishing house in Russia. As a deputy managing editor Alexei Passetchnik edited more than 30 books and worked as a project editor of more than hundred titles concerning computer science.
